School: Lakeland High School (Varsity Hockey)

Accomplishment: All State Team Academic Award

Key to Awesomeness: Teamwork, grit and endurance; this well balanced combination of elements allowed these students to excel in the classroom as well as all the way to the Regional Finals in the 2011 High School Hockey State Tournament. To earn All State Academic honors the team maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 during the season. KLAA honors go to those players who carry a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better. Way to go Eagles!
