Thank You, White Lake- Highland Teachers!

National Teacher Appreciation Day means it's a good day to stop and recognize our teachers for all their hard work and efforts.

It's National Teacher Appreciation Day, and in White Lake- Highland, that means it’s a good day to stop and recognize our teachers for all their hard work and efforts.

On the White Lake- Highland Patch Facebook page, several parents and community members took the time to mention just a few of the people in our school district who have had an impact on their child's life.

"Highland Elementary, Mrs. Johnson & Miss. Giniac," Sueann Legato Marx wrote. "They both have a heart of gold, patience and the love for the children."

"It takes Very Special Teachers to teach Our Very Special Children," Sandy Faloon Neace wrote. "But if I have to name a few Ms. McQuillan, Megan McQuillan, Mrs. Reece, Mrs. Howells, Mrs. Farnum and Mr. Fugate just to name a few that have gotten my son where he is today."

Do you have a teacher that you want to thank?
