Viewfinder: White Lake Middle School Honors Program

The White Lake Middle School honors program was held Wednesday evening before a packed gymnasium of proud parents, grandparents and friends. 

A total of 401 students received certificates for having a grade point averages of 3.0 and above, 34 eighth-graders received the President's Education Award. The President's Education Award is given to students who have attained a 3.75 grade point average for each of the five consecutive semesters during 6th, 7th and 8th grades. 

Another 31 students received Perfect Attendance certificates.

Trustee Lisa Blackwell presented Board of Education Awards to 6th, 7th and 8th-grade students.
