18th Annual Joel/Jeremy Snowball Dance

Featuring local "celebrity" bartenders, live music by two bands as well as a raffle fundraiser drawing, the 18th annual Snowball Dance supporting the Joel Jeremy fund was too much fun to make it only one night.

It takes place four different evenings starting off from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 at Bakers of Milford (Damage Control plays Friday and Rusty Karma performs Saturday).

The dance also takes place from 9 p.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25 at The White Lake Inn, featuring The Snowball Band.

What Is The Joel Jeremy Memorial Fund?

In 1991, two local families suffered the loss of a child: Jeremy Arce, 13 years old, and Joel Rabideau, 16 years old. These two families know firsthand about extraordinary medical expenses.  In 1992, a nonprofit organization called "The Joel Jeremy Memorial Fund" was founded by these two families to assist other Huron Valley, Michigan area families whose lives have been affected by serious illnesses.

Who Is Eligible For Assistance?

The Joel Jeremy Memorial Fund assists families in the Huron Valley, Michigan area with extraordinary financial needs for expenses. Each case will be reviewed by the Board and items such as travel and lodging, babysitting other children, housing, funeral expenses, donor testing and mechanical and equipment needs will be considered. It does not include assistance for medical bills and prescriptions.
