'Children's Appreciation Day'

Take the kids to any Metropark on Sunday, July 17 for outdoor fun as the Huron-Clinton Metroparks celebrate Children’s Appreciation Day.  

Metroparks are offering free use of selected facilities and special programs.

At Indian Springs Metropark, try:

Find out what's happening in White Lake-Highlandwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

· One free round of golf per junior golfer, 20 and under, after noon when accompanied by an adult paying for one round with a cart.

· One free small bucket of balls per adult at the driving range.

· Huron River Day: River Water Under the Scope, takes place at 1 p.m. at the park's Environmental Discovery Center. Discover many of the small, funky creatures who share the Huron River with us. Free to all; all ages are welcome!

Note that a Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $25 annually for regular admission, $15 annually for seniors, or $5 daily.
