Ecological Restoration Volunteer Workday

Come lend nature a helping hand during Kensington Metroparks ecological restoration volunteer workday!  Volunteers will pull garlic mustard, an invasive woodland wildflower, from natural areas at Kensington Metropark.  Meet in the parking lot of the Nature Center at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28.  We’ll wrap things up by 1 p.m. Park entry is free for volunteers.

Tools, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided.  Volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear long pants and closed toe shoes and dress for the weather.

Pre-registration's required; register with Becky Gajewski at becky.gajewski@metroparks.com or 810-227-2757 by Thursday, May 26.
