Ecological Restoration Work Day at Kensington

Come lend nature a helping hand at Kensington's Ecological Restoration Volunteer Workday! Volunteers will use hand saws and loppers to remove autumn olive and other invasive shrubs from forest and prairie areas at the Kensington Nature Center.

Participants should meet at the nature center parking lot at 10 a.m. and we will wrap up at 1 p.m. Park entry is free for volunteers.

Tools, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided.  Volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear long pants, closed toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing.
