Kensington Volunteer Workday

Come lend nature a helping hand at Ecological Restoration Volunteer Workday!  

Volunteers will use hand saws and loppers to remove autumn olive and other invasive shrubs from forest and prairie areas at the Kensington Nature Center. 

Participants should meet at the nature center parking lot at 10 a.m., and we will wrap up at 1 p.m. Tools, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided.

Volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear long pants, closed toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing. 

Preregistration required. Please register with Becky Gajewski at becky.gajewski@metroparks.com or 810-227-2757 by Thursday, August 11.
