Learn Snowmobile Safety

It is officially snowmobile season!  A snowmobile safety course is offered from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 and Thursday, Dec.15 at White Lake Middle School. 

This two day course is six hours of instruction on responsible snowmobiling for ages 12 through adult culminating with a written test. 

Successful completion of the course with its corresponding test provides the student with a DNR Snowmobile Safety Certificate (SSC).

The cost is only $23 for residents, and $33 for non-residents. To register, go to www.huronvalleyrec.com and search for course 1285 in the top right corner of the page. 

 The deadline to register is Monday, December 12.
