The Eagles came out strong in the second period but were unable to put the puck in the net. Howell got their second goal after a scramble in the front of the goal at the 8:06 mark.

Coach Ronayne was pleased with the effort, “Howell goes to the net hard and they are very well coached," he said. "Our kids really stepped up despite a losing effort and the boys gave 100 percent. As coaches we will never fault if you give me 100 percent – win, lose or draw I’m good with it.”
With the tough loss, the Eagles' record drops to 2-8. Lakeland is back in action next Wednesday against Waterford Mott.
