Huron Valley Teams Compete in Special Olympics Invitational

The Mavericks, the Eagles and the Hurricanes all played in a tournament held Jan. 28 at Lakeland High School.

played host to a Special Olympics Basketball Invitational Jan. 28. The district's three teams, Mavericks, Eagles and Hurricanes, all competed against teams from other areas including Grosse Pointe. This was the first invitational hosted by the Huron Valley teams. Additional photos were posted on Photobucket by White Lake resident Rhonda Gelstein. All three teams have another tournament Sunday at Waterford Mott.
