Lady Eagles Sweep Walled Lake Central To Clinch KLAA North Championship

The Lakeland volleyball team swept Walled Lake Central Thursday night on senior night to clinch the KLAA North Division Co-Championship for the fourth year in a row. 

The Eagles share the division championship with Walled Lake Northern.

Ciara Schultz led the way for Lakeland with 26 assists and 10 kills.

Five seniors played their last regular season match for the Eagles. 

Brittany Leonard chipped in with 10 kills. 

Lakeland finishes division play with a 9-1 record and 26-8 overall.

This outstanding group of seniors have accumulated over 100 varsity wins, back to back district championships, conference and division championships, as well as Lakeland's first ever KLAA Association championship in 2009.

The Eagles will host the KLAA tournament on Saturday, Oct. 22 starting at 8 a.m.
