Lakeland Volleyball Blasts Waterford Mott

Lady Eagles take three straight from Corsairs on Breast Cancer Awareness Night.

The volleyball team blasted Waterford Mott on Breast Cancer Awareness night. 

The Eagles jumped out to a 21-6 lead in game one. After a Mott time out, Lakeland scored 4 quick points to win 25-6. 

The Eagles blasted the Corsairs in games 2 and 3 with identical 25-11 scores.

Freshman Maddie Harris and junior Jordan Bromley lead the way for the Eagles with 9 kills each.

With the win, Lakeland ups its record to 6-1 to maintain a tie with Walled Lake Northern in the KLAA North Division and 17-7 overall.

The lady Eagles return to action Thursday evening at Walled Lake Western followed by a trip to Saline on Saturday for the Saline Invitational.
