Lakeland Volleyball Knocked Out of Competition

After three hard-fought games, the Lady Eagles lost to Canton and will not move on in regional play.

The following is an update from Lakeland Teacher Scott Rolando.

On Tuesday night, the Lakeland High School girls volleyball team traveled to Brighton High School to take on the Chiefs of Canton High School in the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) regional semifinals.

The Lakeland Eagles fought hard but were eliminated from the state tournament by losing to Canton in three very close games Tuesday.

That ends the season for the Eagles.

Great job, Lakeland girls volleyball, MHSAA District champs and Kensington Lakes Activities Association (KLAA) North Division and Lakes Conference champs.
