Lakeland Volleyball Sweeps Walled Lake Central

With the sweep, Lakeland remains in first place.

The Lakeland volleyball team swept Walled Lake Central Thursday night on the road. The Eagles took the first game 25-12 with senior Ciara Schultz leading the way. 

After taking a 17-6 lead in game two, Lakeland closed out the Vikings 25-15. In the final game Coach Nighswander cleared the bench as the Eagles won 25-16. 

With the sweep, Lakeland remains in first place in the KLAA north with a 5-0 record.

Overall, the Eagles raised their record to 16-4. 

It was a great night for the Lakeland volleyball program as both the junior varsity and freshman teams swept Walled Lake Central.

The Eagles travel to west Michigan on Saturday to play in the Portage Invitational.
