A brother and sister act were at the Palace of Auburn Hills this weekend. Hannah Hosking sang the National Anthem while her brother third ranked Noah Hosking wrestled in the MHSAA Wrestling Individual State Finals.

The pride went both ways as Noah was beaming while his sister sang the National Anthem for thousands and she in turn was beaming as her brother pinned Lake Orion's, Paul Scott in 2:42, in his opening match.

Hosking lost his second match 4-6 to Temperance Bedford's eighth ranked Adam Ortman, in what many were mumbling was a bad call which sent Hosking to the consolation rounds where he would pin ninth ranked Dylan Morantes of Westland John Glenn in 2:23 and #6 ranked Brian Darious in 1:49.

Hosking then took on second ranked Miguel Corrrea of Holland West Ottawa and was defeated 2-5. That sent him to the 5/6th place round to take on Adam Ortman - again. There was no mistaking it this time, Adam Ortman won the match 8-4.
