Kensington Metropark Celebrates Summer’s Start with Fireworks June 15

The show starts at 10 p.m., but you should plan to arrive early due to crowds.

Start summer off with a bang at Kensington Metropark near Milford/Brighton on Saturday, June 15 when the park celebrates the beginning of the summer season with fireworks! The show begins at 10 pm; plan to arrive early due to crowd conditions. There is a $10 special event daily vehicle permit required for vehicles entering the park after 5 pm; admission is free with an annual permit.

A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $25 annually for regular admission, $15 annually for seniors or $5 daily. On the day of fireworks, there is a $10 special event daily vehicle permit required for vehicles entering the park after 5 pm; admission is free with an annual permit.  General information can be found at www.metroparks.com or by calling 1-800-47-PARKS.
