White Lake Movies in the Park

Movies in the Park is held from 7 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. on the following dates (movie starts at dusk) at behind the . A picnic will start at 7 p.m. with activites for kids including bounce houses. If your child wants to play in the bounce house they MUST wear socks. Blankets and bug spray are recommended. No BBQ grills. Parking is available behind and limited overflow parking is available in the eastern lot of the off of Porter Road. This event is free.

Family Fun

  • White Lake Park It Family Fun Night: July 10 at behind the library. The event starts at 6 p.m., with live music by George Brothers Classic Rock from 6:30 p.m. to  8:15 p.m. At 8:15 p.m., enjoy watching Kung-Fu Panda. This event is free.

Highland Summer Concerts

The following concerts will run throughout the summer, outside, at Veteran's Park (Livingston Road and John Street). The concerts are free to the public, and music starts at 7 p.m.:

Art on the River Festival

  • Join the Huron Valley Council for the Arts at Byers Homestead on Commerce Road in Commerce Township for art, music, crafts and refreshments. The event will be held July 21, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. According to the event flyer, the Art on the River Festival is a family friendly event created to focus on the exceptional artistic talent in the area and bring a feeling of community to Commerce Township at a cherished community location. This event is free.

  • June 30 at Milford High School in Highland.

Quake on the Lake

This event will be held at Area July 20-22. Gates open at 9 a.m. daily.

Joe Kocur and Celebrity Friends Charity Softball Tournament

  • Enjoy a day of softball and family fun at Duck Lake Pines in Highland August 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. See your local policemen and firefighters take on former Red Wing greats like Joe Kocur, Darren McCarty, and Dino Ciccarelli along with actor Jeff Daniels. The cost to get in is $10 per person, and all proceeds will benefit local charities including Team Kendal, Huron Valley Special Olympics, and the Shannon Gaber Silverthorn Lakeland High School Public Service Scholarship.
