Community Sharing has the chance to share a pot of $5 million in grants through the Chase Community Giving Program.
The group is one of thousands of organizations across the country in the running to benefit from the donation program. The number of votes an organization receives determines the amount that will be awarded.
Voting can be done in two ways. Chase customers can vote online at www.chasegiving.com and Facebook users can vote by visiting the Chase Community Giving Facebook page at www.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving. Voting ends Sept. 19.
The top 196 charities with the most votes will split the $5 million.
Other Highland nonprofits competing for a slice of the pie include the the Joel-Jeremy Memorial Fund and the John Dewan Memorial Foundation.
