- The family-friendly Haven Hill Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Highland State Recreation Area.
- The Joe Kocur Foundation for Children will host its fifth annual softball series charity event on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Duck Lake Pines Park in Highland.
