Highland Community Parade and More This Weekend

1. Highland Community Parade

  • When: Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Where: Downtown Highland
  • What: The Highland Adult Activity Center and The Highland Beautifacation Committee will be having our annual Plant Sale, Craft Fair and Treasure Trunk Sale. 

2. 3rd Annual Storytelling & Song Festival

  • When: Saturday, May 18 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Where: Fisk Farm
  • What: Stories & Music by North Oakland tellers & musicians. Admission at the door - $4 each or $10 per family.

3 . White Lake Farmer's Market

  • When: Saturday, May 18
  • Where: Lakeland High School campus
  • What:It will offer high quality fruits, vegetables, and other plants. Its a great opportunity to "Buy Local!" This program is run in conjunction with White Lake Township. 

4. Book'n Trilogy 5K/10K/Fun Run

  • When: Saturday, May 18 at 8 a.m.
  • Where: Salem-South Lyon District Library
  • What: The library will host a pancake breakfast during the race. Race registration INCLUDES a cool race t-shirt and a pancake breakfast for you AND your whole family.
