Bank of America Customers Get Free Museum Admission This Weekend

Participating museums include the Detroit Historical Museum, Flint Institute of Arts, Motown Museum, and The Henry Ford

If you're a Bank of America customer, this weekend might be the perfect time to take in some culture in Metro Detroit.

As part of the bank's "Museums on Us" program, people with a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card get free admission to the Detroit Historical Museum, Flint Institute of Arts, Motown Museum and The Henry Ford.

Here are the details: Simply present your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission to any participating institution, the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month. Cardholders only; guests (including non-cardholding children) are not eligible for free admission. Program excludes fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows. Not to be combined with other offers.

The free admission applies only to The Henry Ford museum, not Greenfield Village. However, on Saturday, The Henry Ford is holding its annual "$5 Day," which means $5 admission to Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, the Ford Rouge Factory Tour or a traditional IMAX® movie.

Also, it is worth noting that the Motown Museum is not open on Sundays.
