Football Fundraiser and More This Weekend in the White Lake-Highland Area

1. LHS Football Fundraiser
- When: Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 8am – 3pm.
- Where: Look for Lakeland Football volunteers on the corner of M59 and Bogie Lake Road.
- What: Football volunteers will be at the intersection to support the Lakeland Football organization and the Fight Against Cancer by asking for donations from drivers at this intersection. Come by and drop some green into their charity buckets.
2. Pet Safety Day
- When: Saturday, June 22, 2013, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Where: VCS Milford, 205 Rowe Road, Milford, MI
- What: Bring your family, friends and pets for valuable pet safety information, discounted microchips, pet CPR certification, canine good citizenship testing, vendors, prizes and giveaways. All proceeds from the event will go to Meals on Wheels.
3. Digging up Fossils!
- When: Saturday, June 22
- Where: Highland Library
- What: Could that rock you found really be a fossil? Mrs. B, the Science Lady, will teach you how to be a rock "detective". We will also make our own fossils in this class for budding paleontologists and geologists. Attendee must be between the ages of 6 Years and 9 Years old. Attendee MUST Give 24 HOUR Cancellation Notice to Allow Others on the Waiting List to Attend.
