Summer Palooza and More This Weekend in the White Lake-Highland Area

1. Milford's Summer Palooza

• When: Friday, July 12, 2013, 10:00 AM
• Where: Main Street in Milford, Michigan between Liberty and Commerce streets
• What: Shoppers, music lovers and families alike will engage in the
  excitement as Milford’s downtown area comes to life during the second annual Milford’s Summer Palooza, presented by the Milford Business Association. The three-day event will take over Main Street between Commerce and Liberty streets, July 12-14. While adults snag bargains at more than 40 participating stores, children will enjoy a variety of inflatable rides, a dunk tank, face painting, a family-friendly summer film and more. Milford restaurant Main Street Grill and Tavern, at 327 N. Main Street, will host a food and beer tent complete with live entertainment from local band, The Duney Brothers, on Friday and Saturday night. Other local performers will provide weekend entertainment as well. Patrons are also invited to stop into one of Milford’s community restaurants, including Gravity Bar and Grill, Milford House Bar and Grill, Coratti’s on Main and The Burger Joint among others, for a delicious snack or meal.

2. Red Cross Blood Drive

• When: Friday, July 12, 2013, 12:00 PM
  
• Where: 2532 N Old U.S. Hwy 23 Howell
• What: Come out and donate Blood at Hartland Insurance Agency and see some of the Hartland Lions at this Co Sponsered Blood Drive. To schedule a appointment log onto redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code Hartland. Appts honored Walk-ins welcome if space permits. Come to Donate July 1 - July 15 for a chance to win one of five $3.000  American Express gift cards
  

3. Cruisin' for Critters

• When: Friday, July 12, 2013, 5:30 PM
• Where: Humane Society of Livingston County: 2464 Dorr Rd., Howell
• What: Stop by our shelter on Friday, July 12 for Cruisin' for Critters, our first ever classic car show to benefit the animals! This is a fun family event with classic cars, music, games, food, face painting and more. All funds donated at the event will benefit our adoptable pets. Whether you have a car to show or not, please come! And, if you know someone with a classic car, please pass on the invitation. We would love to have them bring their car for all to enjoy!
