Owner Melissa Wheeler opened The Art of Dance in 2004. She wanted to provide her students with not only quality dance instruction, but also develop in them feelings of "self-confidence, self-worth and determination." The studio offers ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop and a variety of other specialties to students from ages 3 to adult. Zumba is a popular class that combines Latin rhythms with dance moves for a fast-paced but really enjoyable workout. The studio is available for private parties.
