Where Are the Best Sledding Hills in the White Lake-Highland Area?
Where is your favorite place to sled in and around White Lake and Highland?
Nothing says "snow day" like gathering up the kids and heading to the nearest sledding hill for hours of winter fun. In the White Lake-Highland area, one of the most popular sledding spots is at Kensington Metropark in Milford - in fact, it was even included on a list of best hills by CBS Detroit. Not on the list, but popular in the area, are the hills at Indiant Springs Metropark in White Lake. If you are willing to travel, Farmington's Shiawassee Park was included on CBS Detroit's recent list of the best sledding hills in metro Detroit with the caveat that the hill is so popular, it can sometimes be too crowded.
