Talk About Town: Where Do You Get Your Tree?

We want to know where you go in the White Lake area to get your Christmas tree.

When I first moved into my house, my fiance, Brian, and I argued over what type of tree we would get during our first Christmas. Brian wanted an artificial tree because he said a real tree sheds too many needles, and you have to remember to water it. While I love the artificial tree we bought (it has built-in multicolored lights), I miss the scent of a real tree. This year on Thanksgiving, my family decided to head to Broadview Christmas Tree Farm in Highland to get a real tree. I love going to the tree farm. It reminds me of that classic scene in Christmas Vacation where Chevy Chase's character cuts down the tree with his family and ties it to the top of his car. For me.
