Weekend Countdown: Park Program's All About Snow

Our pick for today: Everything You Need to 'Snow' Where: Indian Springs Metropark, 5100 Indian Trail, White Lake When: 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 Cost: $3 for program plus $5 park entry fee (unless you have or purchase a Metroparks pass, which is $25 annually - though seniors pay only $15). Weekend Countdown: Make Beautiful Bows During Crafty Saturday

Our pick for today: Crafty Saturdays: Beautiful Bows Where: White Lake Township Library, 7527 Highland Rd, White Lake When: 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 12 Cost: Free, but please call 248-698-4942 to register. Why go:  Staff from Flowers of the Lakes will teach you how to create bows, in this make and take program.
