Pet Goat Killed By Stray Dogs in White Lake

A White Lake family's pet goat, Norman, was killed by two stray dogs according to a report filed with the White Lake Police Department. The owners told police that they came home at noon on Aug. 24 to feed the pets and saw that two large dogs had gotten into the fenced area where Norman the goat stays. One of the owners told police she saw the dogs start to bite at Norman before they attacked him, grabbing his neck, the report states. When officers arrived to the home on the 1000 block of Hill Road they found the two dogs hovering over the goat, and the goat was deceased - the report states. Oakland County Animal Control was called to the scene and both dogs were taken to the county's facilities. Neither dog had tags or collars. Animal …
