Ready, get set, go shopping! The bargain hunting starts early this year, so Patch has compiled the best big box discounts to give you a head start.

If you want the best Black Friday deals, you'll barely have enough time to gobble down your turkey; forget about your pumpkin pie. Stores are opening earlier than ever on Thanksgiving to grab Black Friday shoppers. Toys 'R Us, Walmart, Kmart and Sears open their doors at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. 1. Michigan-based Meijer describes its sales as "Black Friday prices all week long" but offers special Thursday-only sales 6 a.m.-midnight on Christmas decor, gift wrap, toys, games, luggage, household goods, electronic items, jewelry, shoes, various clothing items including kids' snow pants and jackets for everyone. 2. Kmart Thanksgiving day ad specials include electronics (including several TV and camera bargains), DVDs, video games, holiday decor, toys, board games, jewelry, winter outerwear/thermal wear, footwear, general household goods and small appliances. 3.
