Avoid the Flu! Get a Flu Shot at the Oakland County Health Division
The state of Michigan has reported at least 4 flu-related deaths this year according to Oakland County.
The following is a press relase from Oakland County. Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) urges residents to get vaccinated against the seasonal flu and take appropriate precautions to avoid getting ill. Flu shots are $16 at OCHD offices. Offices are located at 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Building 34 East, Pontiac, and 27725 Greenfield Road, Southfield. Hours are noon – 8 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. “Everyone should take the proper precautions such as getting a flu shot, washing their hands often with soap and water, staying hydrated by drinking water, and getting enough sleep.
