Avoid the Flu! Get a Flu Shot at the Oakland County Health Division

The state of Michigan has reported at least 4 flu-related deaths this year according to Oakland County.

The following is a press relase from Oakland County. Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) urges residents to get vaccinated against the seasonal flu and take appropriate precautions to avoid getting ill. Flu shots are $16 at OCHD offices. Offices are located at 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Building 34 East, Pontiac, and 27725 Greenfield Road, Southfield. Hours are noon – 8 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. “Everyone should take the proper precautions such as getting a flu shot, washing their hands often with soap and water, staying hydrated by drinking water, and getting enough sleep. Flu Shots Available at Milford High School Thursday

Want to ensure you stay healthy through Thanksgiving and the holidays? Get your flu shot Thursday at Milford High School in Highland.

Flu Shots will be available Thursday, Nov. 15, from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Milford High School in Highland Township. The shots will be given out by the Oakland County Health Division, and will cost $16. Milford High School is located at 2380 S. Milford Road, Highland. Both Medicare Part B and Medicaid are accepted. Residents can register online by clicking here. Online payment options include Visa, MasterCard, Medicare, Medicaid, the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) and cash. Walk-ins are also welcome.
