2,500 Highland, Milford Residents Without Power
A large portion of homes to the south of M-59 along Milford Road and Hickory Ridge in Highland lost power early Monday morning.
More than 2,500 DTE Energy customers in Highland and Milford lost power at 9:45 a.m. Monday morning. The outages were likely caused by the wintry mix of freezing rain and snow that hit the area Sunday night and early Monday morning. According to DTE, there is no estimate on when power will be restored to the area. There are several outages in Oakland County, including a large number in Waterford. If you need to keep warm today, the pools and fitness centers at Lakeland and Milford are open. The libraries in White Lake and Highland are also open.
