Highland Adopts Updated Code of Ordinance, Fee Schedule
The Highland Township Board of Trustees met Wednesday night to discuss a number of items, including an updated code of ordinances for the township.
A newly updated code of ordinance for Highland Township was adopted by the township Board of Trustees on Wednesday night during the township's regular board meeting. In addition, a fee schedule that applies to items in both the code of ordinances and the zoning ordinance was approved. According to the township's website, the goal of the code of ordinance – ordinance 452 – is to address inconsistencies with current state law, eliminate any conflicting provisions and redundancies and to eliminate unnecessary regulations.
