Two White Lake Homes Broken Into

Cash and electronics were reported missing from two homes in White Lake Township.

White Lake Police said there were at least two home invasions reported on Dec. 3 in White Lake. According to the report, the first home invasion occurred on the 10000 block of Oxbow Lake Shores sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. The report states that someone entered the home by breaking the rear sliding glass door. Approximately $1,700 in cash was taken from the home. The second incident occurred on Dec. 3 sometime between 8 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of Haley Road. The report states that someone entered this home by kicking in a rear door. More than $10,000 in electronics and jewelry were missing from the home. Arrests Made in White Lake, Milford Home Invasions

Tow men, according to Milford Police, were arrested Nov. 28 for their roles in home invasions in White Lake and Milford

The following is a press release from the Milford Police Department. On November 28, 2012 Jason Weeks and James Golding were charged with Home Invasion 2nd Degree, 15-year felony, and Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property, 5-year felony as a result of a joint investigation between the Milford Police Department, Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, and the White Lake Township Police Department. Members of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Team (FAT) were conducting surveillance on Weeks and Golding as a result of identifying large amounts of pawned jewelry by the duo.
