If you want to get your fix at the Root Restaurant & Bar in White Lake you better do it quick. The popular local business will be closed Jan. 7 and Jan. 8 for scheduled maintenance according to owner Ed Mamou. The restaurant will reopen on Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. for dinner service and resume normal business hours the following day. This month the restaurant is offering a special Wild Game feast Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m. The event is reservation only and costs $60 per person.
