The blocked punt brought MSU's basketball team out of its seats to high five, as coach Tom Izzo pounded the table in front of him. It was hard not to get excited as the Spartans watched their football counterparts defeat Georgia 33-30 in the Outback Bowl on Monday. In Royal Oak, fans at BlackFinn errupted in cheers, and one fan said even when the Spartans were down by 16 there was "100 percent faith."
