The signs explained zoning changes the two restaurants were seeking from White Lake Township—changes that were approved by the White Lake Township Board of Trustees Tuesday. The changes will allow the restaurants to make changes to their buildings without having to jump through additional hoops, according to Supervisor Greg Baroni. The two parcels were non-conforming parcels, and zoned local business. Under the current ordinance, non-conforming parcels can't make modifications to structure or features. Participating McDonald's restaurants in southeastern Michigan are offering small cups of free coffee every Wednesday this month.
If you're in need of a pick-me-up this morning, stop by your local McDonald's for a free small cup of Premium Roast Coffee. The fast food chain is giving away the java this Wednesday – all day – at more than 230 stores in Michigan. Customers can pick up their free cup of joe either in the lobby or at the drive-through. In White Lake, you can stop by two McDonald's locations – the McDonald's at 9615 Highland Road, and the McDonald's at 6491 Highland Road – for your free small cup of coffee. A manager at a McDonald's in Troy confirmed the free coffee promotion will continue every Wednesday in January, and Fox 2 Detroit is reporting the promotion will continue through February, too. Customers are limited to one free cup of coffee per visit.
