Our Huron Valley Predator 8th grade girls travel basketball team finished strong on Sunday with a commanding 31-18 victory over Hartland and a 41-14 win over Howell to earn second place in the SELCRA basketball conference. The 9 girls will now move to their respective middle school teams (White Lake Middle, Oak Valley and Muir) and compete against each other on the hardwood beginning in mid January. The team is evenly split between girls that will ultimately attend either Lakeland or Milford High. (Source: Mark Winter)
The team, comprised of students from White Lake, Oak Valley and Muir middle schools, finished with a 9-3 record.

Our Huron Valley Predator 7th grade girls travel basketball team finished strong on Sunday with a commanding 32-6 victory over Howell to clinch second place in the 10 team SELCRA basketball conference. With an overall record of nine wins and three losses, the Predators lost one of its games in overtime and another by just one basket. The 11 girls will now move to their respective middle school teams (White Lake Middle, Oak Valley and Muir) and compete against each other on the hardwood beginning next week. The team is evenly split between girls that will ultimately attend either Lakeland or Milford High.
