White Lake Presbyterian Church Helps Keep the Door Open in Detroit
Enjoy the "Souper Bowl" Sunday at White Lake Presbyterian.
What do White Lake Presbyterian Church, the NFL Super Bowl, and the Open Door mission in Detroit have in common? Why, "soup," of course! February 3 is football's Super Bowl Sunday and "Souper Bowl Sunday" at the White Lake Church. On that day, the church fellowship hall will be transformed by the tantalizing aromas of more than 25 Crock Pots filled with homemade soups and the festive atmosphere created by football decorations. The purpose of the event - in addition to providing mouth-watering soups -is to support the Open Door mission that cares for the poor and homeless in Detroit.
