Trifles has moved to a new location in West Bloomfield. What type of business should fill the newly emptied space in White Lake?
This building is the former home of Trifles. Trifles moved earlier this month to a building in West Bloomfield. Owner Gwen Borders said the business will operate out of the store on Elizabeth Lake Road in White Lake during the move this month. So, what do you think should locate to this now vacant space? Should one of the nearby businesses expand? Would you want to see a place like 5 Guys Burger and Fries here? Or, do you think we need a different type of business?

Whether you're buying a gift or just need a chocolate fix, Trifles has all you need. Located in two locations in White Lake, the M-59 storefront carries an array of cakes, candies and chocolates along with books and other gift items. When shopping one day last week for chocolate, I had to pleasure of running into owner Gwendolyn Borders. She suggested I give her Road Candy a try for my weekly column. The candy is an original creation of Borders' and is a mix of chocolate-covered fruits, nuts and caramels. I decided to give the Construction Blues and Michigan Road flavors a try and they did not disappoint.
