White Lake Veterans Day Ceremony (In Photos)

Several area veterans gathered at the White Lake Cemetery Sunday for the White Lake Township Veterans Day Ceremony.

White Lake Celebrates Veterans Day

White Lake Township thanks local veterans for their service Sunday.

White Lake celebrated Veterans Day on Sunday afternoon at the White Lake Cemetery. The White Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4156 (VFW) conducted the ceremonies to acknowledge the heroes who have given so much for so many. The VFW Color Guard lead by post commander Scott Gloger marched into the cemetery. Commander Gloger led the crowd with the “Pledge of Allegiance” under sunny skies followed by the opening prayer. White Lake Township Supervisor Greg Baroni welcomed all the attendees. He spoke of the sacrifices made by all veterans and had the crowd observe a moment of silence.
