After serving for more than two years as the editor of White Lake Patch, which added Highland to its coverage area last year, I am happy to announce that I am taking on a new role at Patch -- one that will encourage readers to take more control over the site, posting stories, events and announcements that are important to you. My new role will be more of a regional one, working with eight other sites in Oakland, Livingston, Wayne and Washtenaw counties, in addition to White Lake-Highland Patch. You'll still see my name and face on the site, and on Facebook and Twitter. And of course, you will still see me around town in person -- White Lake is my hometown, after all. Starting today, all the news and features you've been getting on White Lake business and residents will now include Highland business and residents as well, right here at the new White Lake-Highland Patch.
