After serving for more than two years as the editor of White Lake Patch, which added Highland to its coverage area last year, I am happy to announce that I am taking on a new role at Patch -- one that will encourage readers to take more control over the site, posting stories, events and announcements that are important to you. My new role will be more of a regional one, working with eight other sites in Oakland, Livingston, Wayne and Washtenaw counties, in addition to White Lake-Highland Patch. You'll still see my name and face on the site, and on Facebook and Twitter. And of course, you will still see me around town in person -- White Lake is my hometown, after all.
