Front Door Smashed, Cash Taken from Local Business; Wood Chipper Missing

Your Fit Club in White Lake was broken into in the early morning hours Friday.

White Lake Police are going through evidence collected at the scene of a break-in Friday at Your Fit Club in White Lake. Only cash was reported missing. According to the report, an undetermined amount of cash was taken from the office of the workout facility at 3:30 a.m. The report states an unknown individual smashed the glass on the front door and went to the back office, took the cash, and left. Lt. Don Nankervis said police responded within minutes but could not locate the person responsible. "We have video from the business, and the surrounding businesses, that we are reviewing right now," Nankervis said. The incident remains under investigation. Police: Man Tasered After Running from Police, Resisting Arrest

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A White Lake man was arraigned on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after White Lake Police said he resisted arrest Nov. 1. According to the report, police were called to a home on the 3000 block of Duffield after neighbors told police there was a domestic situation at the home. When police arrived, the report states that the man ran from the home on foot. Two officers chased the man and eventually were able to catch him. The report states that the man started to resist arrest, and did not cooperate with the officers. After several warnings, the man was tasered by police, according to the report. Police Looking For Man Wanted in Walmart Theft

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

White Lake Police were called to Walmart on Sept. 22, following the theft of electronics from the store. According to the report, the incident happened at 1:50 a.m. The report states an unknown man entered the store and grabbed a shopping cart. The man entered the electronics section of the store and loaded the cart with approximately $1,400 worth of computers. The report states the man then pushed the cart out of the store without paying for the items, entered an unknown vehicle and left the parking lot. The incident is under investigation. Crime Report: Naked Couple Arrested In Neighborhood Park

The following information was supplied by the White Lake Township Police Department. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

A 25-year-old White Lake man and a 32-year-old West Bloomfield woman were found by White Lake Police naked, engaged in a sexual act, in a local neighborhood park on July 13 at 3 a.m. According to the report, an officer on patrol noticed the couple under the pavilion at the park in Fox Bay Subdivision. When the officer approached, he saw that the two were naked and fooling around. The pair was arrested and released after police issued a number of citations. The man was cited for possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia for items found at the scene. He was also cited for indecent exposure. The woman was cited for indecent exposure.  The couple told police, according to the report, that they had met at a local bar earlier…
