This 2,500 sq. ft. space has been vacant for awhile. Located off M-59 in White Lake, near Fisk Road, it's listed for $12 a square foot per year. According to the listing on loopnet.com, the property is a great retail or office space in a prime location. What would you like to see happen to this property?

This building used to be home to Mama Mia Ristorante. The building, located off Cooley Lake Road in White Lake, is listed for sale for $525,000 according to AOL Real Estate. So, tell us in the comments what business do you think should locate to this now vacant space? Should a new restaurant buy the space? Or, do you think we need a different type of business here?

Trifles has moved to a new location in West Bloomfield. What type of business should fill the newly emptied space in White Lake?
This building is the former home of Trifles. Trifles moved earlier this month to a building in West Bloomfield. Owner Gwen Borders said the business will operate out of the store on Elizabeth Lake Road in White Lake during the move this month. So, what do you think should locate to this now vacant space? Should one of the nearby businesses expand? Would you want to see a place like 5 Guys Burger and Fries here? Or, do you think we need a different type of business?

The Highland DDA along with Highland-White Lake Business Association invites Highland Businesses and Highland-White Lake Business Association members to Highland's first Business Assistance Team (BAT) Workshop! There is no fee for this workshop, and it will take place at the Highland Public Library on Oct. 3 from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. The goal of the BAT team is to provide knowledge, guidance and useful tools for businesses in order to maintain and grow their businesses. Under new management, the apartment complex off M-59 has been transformed into a family-friendly community aimed at giving residents a slice of pure Michigan.
When new owners Bryan Muscat, 28, and Jake Wiles, 27, first saw Lakeshore Hilltop Apartments, they saw opportunity. "It was the perfect property," Muscat said. "It had everything you'd want in a nice community and had a real "up north" type feel. There was a lot of potential, it just needed some cleaning up. And cleaning up is what they did when they purchased the property in May. Driving down M-59 you'll notice the new entrance sign and white picket fence along the perimeter of the property. In addition, Muscat said he and Wiles have cleared out some of the tenants that caused issues in the complex in the past. The popular home goods store is officially open, and will have a small grand opening event Saturday.
It's official, the long-awaited White Lake Bed, Bath & Beyond is open. The store opened at 9 a.m. Tuesday, and had several customers perusing the aisles at 9:30. Christa Mallinger, district customer service manager with the store, said corporate will be sending out fliers this week with details on a grand opening event Saturday. In addition, Mallinger said the store has several services they can offer to customers including a college checklist and pack-and-pickup service that allows families to purchase items for college at their store, then pick up those items at a Bed, Bath & Beyond closest to your child's college. The desire for "some sort of kids center" has come up numerous times in conjunction with various vacant sites. What is the usage utilization over at the Dublin Senior Center? That facility consumes over $120k of White Lake Township's budget each year.
