It’s coming in a couple weeks and it’s going to make White Lake-Highland Patch easier to use, and a better place to connect and share. The best part? You’ll be able to see it all on your mobile phone! Here’s what you need to know: Our site is being rebuilt from the ground up! The news will look better and be easier to comment on. After serving for more than two years as the editor of White Lake Patch, which added Highland to its coverage area last year, I am happy to announce that I am taking on a new role at Patch -- one that will encourage readers to take more control over the site, posting stories, events and announcements that are important to you. My new role will be more of a regional one, working with eight other sites in Oakland, Livingston, Wayne and Washtenaw counties, in addition to White Lake-Highland Patch. You'll still see my name and face on the site, and on Facebook and Twitter. And of course, you will still see me around town in person -- White Lake is my hometown, after all. You’ve been telling us you’d like to see more Highland faces and issues in Patch – and we’ve heard you. Very soon, we’ll be adding on to White Lake Patch to include Highland Township. Many White Lake Township residents shop, work or go to school in Highland. Many Highland residents come to White Lake to shop or eat.
