It’s coming in a couple weeks and it’s going to make White Lake-Highland Patch easier to use, and a better place to connect and share. The best part? With the start of the new season, it's a great time to freshen up the White Lake-Highland Patch Facebook page cover photo — and we're looking for your help. We're asking for you to submit your best White Lake-Highland spring photos for our cover photo — it could be a recent photograph, something from the archives. Editors Nicole Krawcke and Tatum Ryan will join Brooke Tajer in writing about our towns.
After serving for more than two years as the editor of White Lake Patch, which added Highland to its coverage area last year, I am happy to announce that I am taking on a new role at Patch -- one that will encourage readers to take more control over the site, posting stories, events and announcements that are important to you. My new role will be more of a regional one, working with eight other sites in Oakland, Livingston, Wayne and Washtenaw counties, in addition to White Lake-Highland Patch. You'll still see my name and face on the site, and on Facebook and Twitter. And of course, you will still see me around town in person -- White Lake is my hometown, after all.
