Gerry, Read the comment from Dittmar. There is no agreement from the township board to allow removal of any gas or oil from any township property. As for the 25% that is the amount of mineral rights owned by Highland. The state of Michigan owns the other 75%.

ReplyAfter reading all the posts here about unions I have only one thing to add. Chrysler workers get fired for drinking and doing drugs on the job and the union steps in and Chrysler has to hire them back with back pay. I won't buy a car from that company and I won't support that union ever.

ReplyIn 1992 Bentivolio owed $620,000 to a bank and more than 30 vendors. He declared bankruptcy and cheated them out of their money. Now he is giving us math lessons on the economy? We are in big trouble if this guy gets near any of our tax dollars. We need to dump him now. ONE TERM and GONE!

Gerry, No offence but apparently you were not at the township meeting when this was discussed. I say this because if you had been there you would already have answers to all the questions you bring up here.
