Subsequent to graduating from Oakland University with a degree in journalism, Katey Meisner began her career reporting for a local newspaper. Prepared to take a break to start a family but not ready to leave journalism altogether, she began freelancing for White Lake Patch out of her home office in Highland Twp. She grew up in White Lake and has known she wanted to be a writer since she was 7-years-old. Katey now has a new baby boy with her husband, Freddie, and is busy making time for family and White Lake Patch!
