The Hartland Players' Encore Youth Theater, Neighbor

The Hartland Players' Encore Youth Theater provides training and experience in the performing and theater arts for students aged 8-18 through theatrical productions, camps, and workshops.

Each year, over fifty families are directly involved in our productions. These incredible students and parents reach school and public audiences of 200 - 800 people every performance, totaling over 4,000 audience members per season. Our group has not only successfully produced and performed two shows per season for the past 21 years, we have also participated in various workshops with theater professionals, exploring such areas as storytelling, stage makeup, acting techniques, and playwriting.

The scope of our performances range from melodrama to Shakespeare, from fairy tales to realism, from dinner theater to musical theater, and while the size of our group and the faces representing and planning it may change, our goal still remains to provide children with new and unique learning experiences in the performing arts and to promote live theater within the community.<br><br>In addition to performances, Encore continues to support the development of young actors through the offering of summer camps and college scholarships.  Please visit http://hpencoreyouththeater.weebly.com/ or www.hartlandplayers.org to learn more about our exciting opportunities.
