Quidditch Exhibition

FC Bolton to Host Exhibition Quidditch Match at the 2013 AYSO Section 8 Tournament.

Fenton, Michigan – This summer soccer balls will be sharing the field with broomsticks as the FC Bolton travel soccer club will be hosting an exhibition Quidditch match during this year’s AYSO Area 8G tournament. The tournament will be held June 8th at the Deer Run Soccer Complex in Linden, MI.

Quidditch, the sport played by the wizards and witches of the Harry Potter novels, was adapted by college students in 2005 and named Muggle Quidditch, muggle being the name given to the non-magical in those same novels. The sport has continued to grow since then at universities across the US and abroad.

The exhibition match is free to all and will be played at the Deer Run Soccer Complex, Saturday June 8th at noon, so be sure to stop on by and watch as the world of Harry Potter comes to Linden at the FC Bolton’s Quidditch Exhibition.
