Michigan Couple Creates Supply Store for Emergency Service Workers

Joe and Melissa Cellucci's business focuses on quality equipment for the men and women putting their lives on the line daily.

A couple from Howell are putting their experience in the emergency service sector to good use.

“I have 13 years of experience as a paramedic, former law enforcement officer, and firefighter. My wife has served in law enforcement, a detention officer and dispatcher,” Joe Cellucci tells Patch.

Their business, J and M Supplies, specializes in police, fire, and EMS supplies. They offer everything from medical supplies to security trail cameras and items for the novice camper, the hunter, fisherman or knife collector.

The Celluccis started the business because they saw a void in the public service supply industry.

“In some areas, some personnel have been asked to take a pay cut to provide the same services as normal, but at a reduced rate,” says Joe.

The small company began as a cutlery business and expanded into a broader line of merchandise.

“We have started up our store in hopes of being able to offer a variety of products from many different dealers at the most reasonable price,” Joe says.

J and M Supplies offers a variety of brands such as Under Armour, Streamlight and 5.11 Tactical. “Our customers will experience great customer service, we don’t our customers to feel like a number we want them to know that they are our main priority,” says Melissa.

The store offers customers a little bit of everything from the novice camper to the hunter, fisherman or knife collector.

The supply store opened online in 2013 and the Cellucci’s opened the store in 2014. For more information about J and M Supply go to www.jandmsupply.com .
